Yay, finished my drawing of Sherlock!  I’m just getting better and better…This new style seems to work out very nice.  He seems kinda young, though…so teenage/college!Sherlock? :P  When I started this I was trying to draw what he would look like in my Soul Eater crossover fic, but then I got lazy and just gave him his “normal” clothes. xP  But check out that torso, how sexy is that!!

Trying out new styles and techniques, and who better to test them out on than Sherlock?  (Although I spent a lot more time than necessary collecting reference pics.)  I think this is the next stage of the evolution of my drawing style — from solid, opaque colors to natural, layered strokes.  This style seems quite nice (and much more relaxed), so I think I’ll use this from now on.  It’s faster and more fitting for the tone, and it brings out Sherlock’s character more. Ah, the joys of spring break…~!
